Anyone want to help me shop for a horse/pony?

Ok here's the spec:

1. Up to £1000 (max)
2. 14h2 plus but 14h1 if decent bone
3. East Sussex and nearest to
4. Prefer backed - pref 3 yrs and older
5. Not Thoroughbred (had a few want something different)

the first has had a family crisis and not available at the moment
the second is ex riding school and doesnt hack alone or move beyond walk
the third is sold
the fourth is lovely but too far

first one stunning, but haggling down to my max might be a tricky one to do
the second is a dodgy dealer. I've googled him and seen feedback on other forums.
