Friday was really heavy rain and there's been a fair bit about Saturday and today.

It is currently p**ing down and has been for weeks apart from the odd few hours . . . yesterday wasn't too bad during daylight hours!

Why do you ask? The ground is totally saturated; Netley Marsh Steam Rally's last day was cancelled because of the mud and NF Show starts tomorrow - heaven help us all by Thursday (if it's not abandoned in the meantime . . . . )

Hmm I live in Fareham keep my horse at Exton (Hampshire). At Exton the ground is lovely, went for a canter. Prob being is the weather is so localised it's hard to tell what's happening up the road.

Between Fareham and Southampton, and it's DISGUSTING here. Started spitting as I went to Tesco at 2.30 this afternoon, got worse all afternoon and now it's pouring

I don't even want to drive in this weather!

I'm pretty near Wilton (I'm just the other side of Salisbury) and it was nice yesterday but has been miserable today with constant drizzle, which occasionally turns to heavy rain then back to drizzle. Forecast to be ok tomorrow then back to normal rain I think.

fingers crossed Wilton will run, I want to go on Sunday!
