So 3 weeks and two trims later, how do they look now?

Above photos are before first trim; then after second trim.

Still trying to track down mystery left front lameness. Vet thinks higher up. Shoulder and elbow xrayed and nothing to see. Still 1/10 lame, landing more heavily on left leg and not reaching forward with shoulder. Tom Beech coming in two weeks.

In my inexpert opinion feet look loads better (assuming 2191/2190 were before and 2243/2244 were afters). Toes were really long!
What exactly was blocked? ie which bits should it have affected - I have recently learnt there are numerous nerve blocks to test different parts of the limb - its not just 'that bit down'

How many nerve blocks blocks they do? I think there are several they need to do before the whole foot is blocked and then they should just go up the leg, I am surprised they went and x rayed the shoulder and elbow it's quite rare that things go wrong there, I would have preferred them to continue up the leg before doing that.

The feet look much better it might take time for them to adjust if it is just hoof balance.

Sorry, yes, that was rather non-specific. He blocked the hoof.

Vet did two nerve blocks to the hoof.

Yes! No one to hold horse and he wanted to play with my ipad. It has an orange cover and he thinks it might be a carrot, and won't stand still. OH definitely takes better pics than me.
