Anyone with a Bateson Deauville Trailer?

Just a word of advice to anyone with one of these trailers. Please check the inside door handle on your grooms door. Unfortunately I lost my horse 2 weeks ago in an accident where she had pawed out and kicked the handle and pushed the whole lock back about an inch resulting in the door not shutting and the metal being exposed. I would hate it to happen to anyone else.

How awful! I'm sorry for your loss. Thank you for posing and warning others. Have you contacted Bateson about this? I had a Bateson Ascot some years ago and the horse used to open the jockey door from inside whilst travelling sometimes. we had to remember to lock it.
