Bit of a story, but basically we recently bought a mare who came with papers but no breeding. When asked why, we were told she had been bred by a man who lived in Moira a number of years ago, but he fell ill with cancer and died in the same month she was born. His son was left 35 horses, and a number of foals who had yet to be registered. Unfortunately the son had little interest or know how when it came to horses, and so sold them all on. The people we bought her from were able to locate her dam, but apparently she also has no breeding (i know

) but looks nothing like my mare. Anyways, in a funny twist it turns out some people we know very well were actually close friends of his and said that in the year she was bred he was using 3 sires predominantly - King of Diamonds, Aldatus Z and Clover Brigade. Of the three, she looks nothing like the first two, and extremely similar to CB. We have sent off to weatherbys to have her DNA'd but i was wondering if any of you forum lurkers such as myself happened to have any pics of them? Just for comparison? Heres some of her, and thanx soooo much for any help you can give :P

had a lesson with oliver Townend not too long ago, and he said he had a KOD horse, who looked nothing like her, an Aldatus Z horse, who also looked nothing like her, and a CB horse, who was the "spit" of her :P [he's certainly not struggling to find the rides is he? !]

Heres hoping hes right anyways, Weatherby's should be ringing us in the next week or so! *crosses fingers*
