I just thought that I would ask if anyone has a horse from Ard Cherrymount Stud in Ireland. That is where Belle was bred and I would love to find out if anyone owned a relative of hers or a horse from the same area.
I spoke to them after buying Cherrymount Dolly Mix (above). They were really nice. I hope your mare has worked out as fantastic as ours has, she is a little superstar
Mine has turned out to be a bit of a nutter, hehe, but she is settling nicely now (after a year!). She is somewhat wasted on me - I'm sure with some work she'd make a super eventer but I have her just for hacking, lessons and fun. I think she wasn't showing quite the paces they had originally hoped for but I love her to bits. She has, or so I'm told, excellent conformation and her sire is a cracking jumper. Perhaps we'll get into something more in the end.
Cherrymount Dolly Mix is such a cool name... mine is called Ard Shanny which is not so good (or ladylike, hehe).
Hi there, I also own an ISH from the Cherrymount Stud.......I don't know if this is the same as Ard Cherrymount as you used to be able to google it but it doesn't come anymore. She was bred by Gene Ormiston. Her posh name is Cherrymount Bella but we call her Astra, her sire is Flintstone her dam Williams Loss. She is lovely, has a fantastic nature. She is dark Bay. I know Flintstone comes from a line of SJ and Eventers but I don't know anything about her dam. There are a couple of websites that I have found where you can see her lineage, you might find yours on it. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com
