Am considering investing in a piece of land over there but am struggling to find much out about how planning permission works compared to the mainland Uk. Is it more/less strict, about the same or does the answer depend? I have a vague vision of buying a piece of land, gaining planning permission and building a property with equestrian facilities, quickly if feasible but over a longer period if not. Any advice anyone can give me would be much appreciated, either on here or via PM.
Also, how is the riding over there? Is it quite restricted or are there miles and miles of off-road to roam over?
