Anyone's horse lost weight on prascend?

Hi, I'm just about to start my horse on a prascend trial and am hoping this will help him lose weight, especially the fat pads. Has anyone found this?

Take a look at the laminitis site..its full of info on this and any other questions you might have.... Prascend won't help him lose weight..correct diet and exercise will achieve weight loss.

No, the opposite for me. I started my boy on Prascend as he was dropping weight (plus other symptoms). He started gaining weight as soon as tablets commenced. The only time he lost weight then, was when the dosage was too high.

Prascend does not help your horse lose weight!!

he will only lose weight with the correct diet and exercise . mine did lose the fat pads over her eyes once she was started on the correct dose of prascend but the other fat pads on her hindquarters took longer to go. hope this helps
