twig certainly is! we have changed her from speedi beet to fibre beet and i dont know if its that or just the time of year thats having an effect! we had squeling, bucking, leaping around and an odd rear or two on the lunge tonight - was going to ride, glad i didnt now!

Let him out this morning and thank god not on him - 4 x vertical bucks!!

Mine has gone the other way! He was lying flat out in the field today - worried me stupid but of course was absolutely fine. I went over to him stroked his nose and he just looked at me as if to say 'I'm having an afternoon snooze, don't wake me unless you're bringing food!'
Or maybe its to lull me into a false sense of security and we'll go for a ninety mile an hour hack on Saturday.

Yup. Mine is. And before that he was feeling the joys of autumn, and before that it was the joys of summer, and before that the joys of spring..... I think maybe he's just a very joyful horse LOL!

mine has gone mad too, but brilliant on the lungeline last night! have taken him off the pasture mix tho, i like a bit of fire in the belly when riding but not a volcano

Mine was mad today too!! Bags of energy and totally full of herself!! Its not the weather, because she is fne schooling in the worst weather and she not got any more feed, so no idea, but was definatly enjoying herself schooling!!

my boy is a nut case all year round he s got his dads temperament he was a pure bred arab and he is only three so we will let him off the hook.

Better than them being poorly, mine has laid down in the field and not moved when I shouted, makes your blood run cold, then when you get to him he looks at you as if to say WHAT, dont you just love em

He he - I was just about to ask you the same question! Mine's by Psytadel (Padrons Psyche x Bint Bey Shah). What's your boy's breeding?

Oh no, I don't need to hear this! Have had to bring my chap in tonight, couldn't leave him out any longer as our clay fields are soooo wet! Looks like limited turnout for him and I dreading it. I've only had him since May and he was turned out 24/7 for the last 2 years!

Please say he's going to be a good boy - good vibes please!

My mare was absolutley bonkers tonight!!!. I lunged her and she started off ok then she just suddenly went from a canter to a complete standstill looking up over the trees that we have at one end of our school then procceded to gallop off bucking and farting round me, she done this two or three times then I gave up on her and took her for a walk in hand to cool her off.The only conclusion that I could come up with is that the clouds were moving too fast for her liking lol

I cant ride pickle at the moment, but he is on working livery and has apparently been a bit of a nutter hacking, allthough only ridden by a very good rider doing escorts thank god!

My girl has turned into a loon too. Must admit that I thought that it was due to the Sugarbeet rather than Speedibeet that she'd been on for the last 2 days, maybe not!!!

Well my horse is on limited hard feed and ad-lib forage when he's in. When he's out though he has been going balistic. He has a habit of digging holes. (Maybe he's searching for gold?)!
Then he is rearing up vertically above the holes! And pegging it around the field, slip sliding everywhere. He's actually quite sore from all these recent antics - as the physio told me today........
If it carries on this way he will have to be brought in when he does this!

both my loan horses are, indie gallops round our arena full pelt and rodney just likes to throw in the odd flying buck for enjoyment

For 2 weeks i have a 17.1hh draft type eventing mare while her owner is on holiday, and she seems to be ok when ridden but does like to trot up from the field
