Anyones horses stopped eating something all of a sudden or suddenly changed behaviour

My boy has had the same feed routine and food since being in at night beg December, food in bucket and conditioning cubes in ball and ad lib haylage, has always got only some haylage left.

Since sunday morning he's not played with the ball...? He used to love it! It works perfect and the cubes inside are always new and he likes the cubes as he wolfs them down for breakfast!

His workload is gradually increasing so he'll need them to keep his weight on!

Maybe he doesn't feel he needs them or doesn't want to play- ideas anyone?

Maybe he scared himself with the ball? Take it away for a while and just put the cubes in his bucket see if he eats them then.
