My friend recently sold her horse, because she couldn't afford her anymore after she split up with her boyfriend, who was the one paying. (Don't know details, don't ask)
She was a rescue horse, who she transformed from a demon, to a nice little riding horse.

She sold her to an apparently reputable riding school, but she's had 2 separate reports that she's not being looked after properly.
She's got a job of her own now, but doesn't have much transport.

Are there any places in Milton Keynes or Northampton that might take her?

She's been my friend for 12years :( I just don't know what to do, I know she's distraught and I really want to help.

I can't take her on myself, which is a shame.

Ideas?

I don't know if you'd be able to see this...but here's the little darling ^^

Trouble is, she sold her and that's that. If it's a riding school, you could both go and check it out though...

If she sold her them how can she do anything about it? She has no rights to the horse anymore.

If you are worried how the mare is being treated, report it to the RSPCA or the BHS if it is a registered riding school

we might be able to go and see her, but neither of us have transport and buses around here are terrible.

If she really cares about the horse then she should find a way to get there to see if the reports are true. If the reports are true then she needs to report the riding school. All riding schools have to be inspected annually by a vet and an official from the council.
