These should probably technically be in the gallery, but the updates have been in here, so...........

Well i went to see them this morning because it was sunny and i'd forgotton to give Anne Dolls mask (the second i put it on, the heavens opened and it thundered, but what more could i expect - it HAD been sunny for about an hour, so it would have been greedy to expect any more!!!

He's practically as big as Doll! I think Anne should enter them into some mare & foal classes, to confuse the judges!

And Doll is a little looker...just a bit podge!! I blame her previous owners for using her as a brood mare & distorting her belly!!!

He hasnt suckled yet, but he's feeding from a bucket so he is getting enough food. Doll has always had milk, but it seems that the initial stress of moving yards and leaving her friends has dried her up a bit. We'll see how it goes.

They are lovely photographs... I have been following their progress and just think that posts like this show how HHO can really help people out when they need it!

Lou they do that, they look great together and so happy. You would never have known the little one has endured a tragic start judging by how happy and settled he looks x
Aw Dolly is a looker and isn't podgy she looks lovely imo.

Anakin that stallion, Apollo's dad is well I can't put it into words really. Absolutely gorgeous

What a looker, mind you I love Friesians anyway as they have such presence and remind me so much of the spanish bloodlines of the andalusians and lusitanos that I adore as well.
I hope Apollo turns out to be as gorgeous as his parents. He is certainly a very good looking foal and is a very strong little character to have coped with what he has done these past few days.
I sincerely wish them both -Apollo and Dolly- a very happy future x

They bought a tear to my eye MM. Dolly looks proud enough to be his real mummy. Well done to you and Anne for all the hard work and worry.

They look like they are sticking fairly close together! seems a good sign!

She DID have milk...but Anne has said that she doesnt seem to have any at the mo - possibly due to the stress of moving yards? She's always had milk, so i cant imagine it will be gone for long - especially if she convinces herself that Apollo is hers!
