You are not a cow merely for raising a topic, perhaps though you are a little lacking in tact - not the same thing. At the end of the day it is a very sensitive issue as I am sure you are now aware. I can seen that you are at heart coming from a place where you are generally concerned about aspects of horse welfare and that itself is no bad thing. It just got a bit out of hand???
I'm all for leaving things in the past and moving on, but many people were extremely hurt, worried and made to doubt themselves because of your posts. I'm all for discussion, but when it comes to being downright offensive, that is out of order. You wouldnt post a topic titled: 'I am racist' (or would you?). Racism, sexism, homophobia and sizeist attitudes all fall into the same category, IMO. It may take some time for people to forget the horrid things you have implied - but the apology is appreciated. It takes a better person to apologise than to simply walk away.
Oh dear ..... I have now gone down the list and found the 'offending' post
I must remember to keep my big mouth shut, before I have all the facts ... I must remember to keep my big mouth shut .... and start with the oldest post first
sorry but u've made me very paranoid now. see my reply to ur "fat" post which i posted earlier this afternoon.
some people can be so judgemental! i am happy being short but chunky but i still don't people to judge my riding because of my weight and shape. i think its very sad that u feel u have to belittle people in the way that u did its really not very nice. i don't kno if u have body issues urself but until u have had a problem loosing weight don't judge!! when i was 12 years old i was 11 and a half stone and went down to 8 and a half in under a year and it made me ill so i kno what its like!!
the apology is apreciated but it has really made me think differently and lowered my opinion of u
