you know what HHO's - i need to say a sorry to people on here.

i lost one of my mares back in January, the 1st that i have ever lost, esp in that way, it was sudden, she was young, it was horrendous. And people on here were SOOOOO nice and supportive to me, thank you, you brought me support that i really needed. I now know how important that support can be, BUT, whenever i see a post title that implies someone has lost a horse, i cant bring myself to open the thread and read it. I know i should, and offer my support, esp as i know how much i know it means to everyone.

I just wanted to say sorry, i feel a biatch that i dont even read your post but god, i still cry sooo much for my mare.

(yesterday my mum was here and moved the top i was wearing that day, i was devestated as i hadnt been washed and still had some of her hairs on, this is nearly 10 months later, i guess its that which has also made me feel so bad for not supporting others who may be in the situation i was in)

No need to apologise, those of us who have lost a horse/pony know that feeling.
I lost my pony, who I had owned for 15 years, 5 years ago this coming Christmas and I still shed a tear when I think of him or see his pictures.
Reading that somebody else is going through that pain brings it all flooding back and I invariably cry at their posts.

Absolutely no need to apologise. I often feel the same as I just remember the pain I went through went I lost my beloved horse 18 months ago.
Sometimes I do read the posts and sometimes I reply even just to say how sorry I am and that I understand their loss.
Overall I think most folk on here are pretty understanding and certainly wouldn't think any less of you.
I hope you can in time look back with just very fond memories of your horse and be thankful of the times you shared without getting upset.
