App for hacking out

I am after an app that can track my hacks. I part loan and usually go out alone out of necessity as there is no manège and my schedule often doesn't match with the only other horse's owner. I'm perfectly happy doing this, as is the horse, but purely from a safety perspective, I would like an app that shares my location with someone. Currently I am using life360 but I would like something that registers the full route I ride and the speed rather than just logging my location intermittently. What does everybody else use that is available on Google play and preferably a one-off payment rather than monthly?

ViewRanger is the best I have found I just download and pay for the maps that I need. They show up all tracks in the woods also which is great for thetford and kingsforest

What can this app do?

The priorities for me are:

- tracking accurately where I go (following my movement accurately and not just document where I am at intervals)
- someone else being able to view my location at any time when it is active.

If it shows my speed and/or distancr, all the better.

If it has a map of pre-existing horse-friendly routes, that's also useful but not of much importance to me.

Tracks your ride and displays where you are on the map. You can also plot a route beforehand to follow and also follow other peoples routes.

It is especially useful for using if you like to venture in new areas as you can always see where you are to find your way back to your venue.
You can use on an Apple Watch or certain smart phones

I have monitored my friend a few times when crewing for her at endurance rides . I know where she is on course at all times.
I’m sure it does a lot more then this I’m not very tech minded lol
