Appaloosa ancestors *also in Breeding*

Bit of a long shot, we had a mare whose grandsire was Bantac Prince, but despite trawling the net, I've not been able to find out anything about her appaloosa ancestors. I've put her pedigree here http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/gentles+risk and am just hoping that someone can shed some light on the breeding, any help gratefully received!

Nebo and Derwin are welsh's I think? Thats all i can really help with though!! I haven't heard of any of the others, Good Luck finding out

Thanks, yes I've got all the welsh info, it's the Appaloosa stuff I need to trace!

There were quite a few Bantacs about, we knew Bantac Just a Sample (about 25 years ago!) This was at the time when it was possible to register them just on the Appaloosa characteristics, rather than knowing the breeding. It is now possible to register them on the part bred register on characteristics alone, again.

There is quite a lot of Arab blood from 'Spotlight' there and also some welsh, which is interesting!

Have you tried contacting the Appaloosa society for information?!
