I have a Strawberry roan appaloosa who has the name bucket on his passport (he was sold with the name George)----I am DESPERATE to find info about him. I bought him from County Durham in oct 08----He is in a permanent home for life. I was told that he was brought up on the bottle as his dam either rejected him or died. He is approx 16hh and is a real character. Somebody must know him or know of him. Somebody has spent alot of time on him as he is very well schooled and has manners to die for. He is now seven according to his passport----if some one could help it would mean the world to me

Try contacting the British Apalooss society, and who is the passport with? If he was from a registered mare it should be possible to find her. Also there is a list of breeders on the BAPS web site, (I think) pr certainly some one who will know who is likely to be his breeder. Good luck
