Hopefully lots of foal photos are shown below! Ellie was bron at 9am Friday 8 June. Her dam is Appaloosa few spot x Welsh D, and her sire (picture shown) is a Section D. We weren't trying to breed for colour, but it's a huge bonus!!

Lovely foal. If you are after a colourful foal always use a few spot, crossed with a solid you'll get loads of colour.

Ah, she is all over us like a rash as soon as we get to the field, and is already to used to our three dogs playing under her nose and chickens flapping around her. Going to try for the foal slip fitting tonight, should be ok. I can put my hands anywhere on her (in her ears this morning!) and we pick up her feet everyday - my farrier is VERY pleased!
 
What a very pretty little creature indeed. I hope she and her mum are doing well. I love her little 'spectacles'

Yes, the specs are cute and she has white eyelashes too! They are both doig very well thanks, being a couple of weeks early hasn't slowed her down at all and she is busy being a lunatic foal! The intention is to keep her, she will eventually be a replacement for my gelding, who is now 15.
