Been using the ACV for about a month and a half now on my Section B & D, noticed today both have really dry scurfy skin/coat, D is worse could this be caused by the ACV? or 2 high a volume per day? only giving recommended dose of 25ml?

Unless caused by any of the feed, they are on Apple Chaff, Equerry Hugh Fibre Cubes and some Top Spec Healthy Hoof...

Any help greatly appreciated :)

Garlic is slightly toxic and can upset the good bacteria in the gut, I don't see any beneficial uses for it and it may well be causing an issue with the coat/ skin, if it is the only change then I would cut it out and see if they improve.

Apple chaff is very high in sugars so that may be causing an issue as well, it may be worth trying to cut down on the sugar you are feeding as it is not great long term for ponies who are always at risk of laminitis even the slim ones can come down with it so reducing the risk by feeding less sugar makes sense to me.
