Does anyone feed this? If so, why do you feed it? All I can find is this on it

"A natural product that has been used for a number of health reasons for many years. Renowned for supporting reduced calcification of the joints, arteries, cleansing the blood and as an appetite stimulant. All the natural goodness of fresh apple is preserved in cider vinegar, making it an excellent source of Vitamins A and C and good quality carbohydrates. The minerals present include calcium and phosphorous to maintain bone integrity and potassium and sodium for electrolyte balance. N.A.F. Cider Vinegar is therefore recommended for all round health and vitality, with particular benefit being seen in coat condition and can be used where there are early signs of joint stiffness. N.A.F. Cider Vinegar may also be used to regulate digestive pH, which, when not maintained at optimum levels may lead to digestive imbalances"

Seems to be a brilliant product, but just wondering why it is not more common in feeds etc.? :)

I feed it for joints. Used to feed cod liver oil until I got asked why I was feeding fish to a vegetarian and felt stupid!
Pretty sure it's not evidence based but it's cheep so hey ho...

I use cider vinegar but I don't feed it, it's a fab tonic to the skin and when mine get really sweaty and need a wash off I use Luke warm water with a cap of cider vinegar to sponge them off with :-)

I used to feed it until the specialist vet that cared for one of our horses who had nasty ulcers explained exactly how nasty it would be for a horse with a delicate tummy I only use it for washing frogs now.

Thats really interesting and may explain a few things. I just started my lad on it 2 days ago and today he was a fruit loop! The only change to routine was the ACV. I'd say he has a delicate tummy and i was considering getting him scooped for ulcers. I stopped the ACV thinking it might be the cause of the lunacy!

I shall use it externally now!
