Apple problem

My spanish horse is a complete nutter rearing bucking bolting thats just in hand anyway i run out of apples for a couple of days and he turned into a donkey and being really good could he have a sugar problem he only fed happy hoof and one apple a day. Has anyone else had a problem

Just goes to show you that sugar content in apples/carrots can send them a bit barking!

Of course he has grass and huge haynet everynight sorry should have said still no apples still being really good unless he been swapped
