How do you apply it?

It says in the instructions that there are different ways to apply, ie. for sweet itch, apply to base of mane and tail, for a fly repellent to apply with sponge all over

My main concern is, my girl is itchy, and at the moment I don't know if its, sweet itch or mites? So im not really sure how to apply it for her? was thinking i should sponge her all over with the dosage as stated, but will this kill the mites if it is mites and/or help the itch if it is sweet itch.

I just used a sponge and wiped all over, trial and error I think

I'd sponge all over, I did that for my mare who was just generally itchy in the summer (she used to get too hot), friend who had a sweet itch sufferer applied all over and made sure to rub into the mane and top of the tail.

Make sure you wear the rubber gloves provided!!
