appropriate dress for working hunter and showing classes

daughter and her grey highland tb x mare are keen to do some working hunter classes.up to now she has done everything in her navy show jacket and pony club tie.we now have a lovley fitted blue tweed jacket ,show shirt and stocks.what should she wear for both working hunter classes and to do some local showing.panicking that blue is the wrong colour for working hunter but i thought it would look good with a grey horse and ive read that they prefer ties.it will only be local level but want to get it right.

Tweed jacket - Green or brown are generally good colours with greys. Blue was traditionally a "cheaper" tweed so are not really seen at higher levels.
Buff, verging on stone or canary -but not too bright! breeches (look better with greys and not too wishy-washy)
Long leather boots - black traditionally but I have seen brown - strictly brown is not incorrect but can look like you are trying too hard.
Spurs (or dummy spurs) and garter straps on boots
Shirt and tie with pin (NOT a stock, which should only be seen in Evening Performances/Royal show championships)
BROWN gloves (tan or yellowish are acceptable - not black, blue or white)
short leather whip or cane
Hair in a bun and netted (no scrunchies for hunter/WH)
Strapped velvet hat - Navy for ladies.

actually brown boots with tweed is more correct traditionally speaking than black but i'm talking on hunt field so showing may be different

i've only done local level - piccies of me below are doing WH and SH if that helps you should use a more muted colour tie but i use red as it lifts the colour of the jacket a bit

I don't know how old your daughter is, but at local level she should wear a tweed jacket with a shirt and tie (PC one is fine). Jodhpur boots and matching leather chaps are fine - no tassels etc.) Short whip or showing cane. Beige or canary breeches are fine, not white or coloured. a Plain tack and shaped numnah to match the colour of your saddle, i.e. if the saddle is brown then brown numnah and girth. That is the ideal, but if you only have black then at local level that will probably be OK. Hope this helps.

thank you .shes 16 and has brown boots and matching gaitors.horse is 15hh highland x tb so nice workmanlike type.will the blue tweed be ok she has a blue vevet hat cover and should i get a yellow shirt or will white be ok.

Your blue one should be fine, I have a blue and brown one (which was anything but cheap!) and I wear a yellow shirt with a blue tie with yellow spots with canary jods for working hunter and I've done some higher end nationals with my previous horse.
