As the title suggests. I've been using a wood pellet bedding for 2 yrs now & only had a traditional metal shavings fork & rubber gloves to muck out.

The small pieces drive me insane, so I was wondering if I ought to get the special fork. Also what is a good price for one?

Any advice?

Below is a link to the fork for those that have no idea what I'm talking about.

I know what your saying about the bits, but I have found a rubber matting shavings fork (with the loops on the end of fork) works fairly well... They look quite flimsy but that might just be me.

Sorry to nick your post, but you made me think that there might be something better than a shavings fork for Bliss (chopped rape straw).

Any recommendations?

I think I'll go & hunt one down. I just hate the thought of buying yet another "great idea / gadget" that sits doing nothing.

Thanks
