Aquamax V Easibed

Im on rubber mats and thinking of changing to one or the other over the winter. Horse tends to mix up his bed and I will be skipping out Monday to Friday and taking the wet out at weekends.

Please give me your opinons and a rough idea of prices/amount used per week.

I use Aquamax but you would need to take the wet out every day (only takes a minute though) or you will end up with a swamp.

Mine are stabled on easibed - i put down 2 bales a week, skip out through the week and take the wet out at the weekend. A few on the yard deep litter on rubber mats and easibed without any problems, as the wet sinks to the bottom, so the top of the bed usually stays dry.

Easibed, I used to use about a bale a week. Great stuff and easy to muck out too.

Easibed, I use it as a toilet area on rubber matting for 1, and deep litter on matting for the other, really easy.

I have 2 horses on easibed. One leaves her deposits in neat little piles and it looks like she hardly moves in the night - easibed is perfect for her.

The other is like your horse - she churns everything up so it looks like she's had a party and invited all her mates

I can't semi-deep litter - all the middle part of the bed has to go each morning, so I am resigned to using half a bale a day, which is expensive, but shavings aren't much less, and I do prefer to muck out easibed.

I can't comment on aquamax.

Aquamax has my vote, I use it in my field shelter and it's great.

We use Easibed on rubber matting.

The beds are litteraly a sprinkling, and are swept out each day.
