Aquamax vs other wood pellets?

Is there any big difference? I have used Stovies wood pellets as bedding before and found it to be about half the cost of shavings for my horses. I have been offered Aquamax pellets but they are more expensive, although they claim to be more absorbant than fuel wood pellets. So has anyone had any comparable exerience with aquamax and other pellets?

I've tried the other cheaper wood pellets and always found them to be wanting compared to Aquamax. I don't even bother with the cheaper alternatives now. I find I end up using ridiculous quantities of the cheap stuff... I

I use Aquamax and have been very impressed by how absorbent they are-I have 2 very mucky geldings and it works a treat with them. I think the extra expense is worth it as you'll save in the long run!
