Are anyone else's arabs/arab crosses particularly warm beasts? I now have two - one crossed with NF, the other with Welsh and Appy. They are both sweaty ponies. Even though their coats feel quite fine and silky, they are obviously fairly well insulated. Are they really still forming the coats of a desert living creature? On the flip side, my other two are native/native crosses who have fine coats in the summer and thick double layered coats in the winter. Even though they are currently hairy, they aren't sweaty. x
