I have differing information on Chicos sire.

He is either a WB x TB or an Anglo-Arab.

I am leaning towards Anglo-Arab due to his build and the look about his face, what do you recon, Arab in there or not?

A lot of warmbloods are also part arab though :) Also, as Rara says, you can't get coloured pure bred arabs.

tb x wb with perhaps a little bit of arab somewhere in the pedigree would be my guess.

fab thanks :) will chane my vote to wb x tb sire then, lol! :D:D

I'm not sure but I wouldn't rule out arab :p
Mossburn had a coloured anglo-arab once, she was beautiful :)

She is beautiful, but she cannot just have arab and thoroughbred in her pedigree, as neither breed has coloured 'genetics' which would result in a tobiano pattern like either of the coloureds in the thread :)

I suppose nobody knows what else so it is easier to say lol!
Doesn't bother the horses anyway, she is happy in her new home :D
Can you imagine the conversations "oh darling, you can't possibly associate with us, a coloured calling herself an anglo-arab" :D

could have some Trakehner in there, they often have Anglo-Arabian in their lines and he has a very pretty head which is reminiscent of Trakehners

:D :D No, not remotely important, but I'm a bit of a genetics nerd  :o I nearly lost the plot yesterday when I saw a book called 'Palomino horses: Austria's haflingers':mad::mad: There's no such thing as a palomino haflinger! :D They are all chestnut with the pangare gene! No cream gene

I'm the same with some animal things, I've seen 3 pictures on facebook this week of male frogs/toads attached to female ones with the inevitable associated comments and have to sit on my hands to not spoil the fun pointing out they have external fertilisation and he really is just having a piggy back :o :D
