For no other reason other than I simply love them!!

And I wondered if anyone buys an Arab Horse magazine and if so which one and where from?

you need a photbucket account, they need to be loaded up onto there and that gives you an image tag to copy and paste :)

I would love to post a pic, but he's not quite mine yet- fingers crossed, in a couple of weeks I will be able to post a photo of my very own arab!

Crystanina Bint Padan or Magic as a rule! 9 years old. I have had her for nearly 5 years. Backed her myself and love her to bits. She can be a moody mare but I wouldn't change her.
 
Here is mine, she is a 17yr old registered crabbet in foal to whirlwindhorses " August Skyhawk" she is due in 30 days, foal will be registered 50% arab 50% appaloosa and will be spotty.

Before I got Iyasha I had another purebred chestnut arab mare who I showjumped among other things, this picture was taken at her first competition following colic surgery. It was also the very last time I ever rode her as I lost her 4 days after this picture was taken due to colic and not being well enough to undergo a 2nd surgery.

Absolutely gorgeous, what do you do with him? I have an anglo, but (checks that horse isn't listening) can I swap?!

Well now I feel guilty I love my horse really.

I am very much enjoying this thread. And to think people don't like arabs!

Not a lot at the moment, hoping to do some eventing this summer, just some small ODE's to start with and then maybe some BE next year. He is only 7 now and he had quite a traumatic experience as a younger horse so i have to take things slowly. He is getting there though =)

I love arabs, people think they are all hot headed and crazy (which they can be lol ) but they make great horses.
 
Aw, have fun with him!

I'm planning on doing dressage with mine, he is about the same age. Did loads v. young with previous owner, as a result he is a slightly nervous about jumping. Extended trot is what he does to show off or just when he's in a good mood!

I have just bought an Anglo Arab x Irish Draught does that count. he is only 3 and has been a bit neglected, let him out in the school last night and he seems to have forgot about the Irish Draught part....oh no! Will try to figure out how to put pics out. He doesn't look like anything compared to some of the stunners on here but give me time :-)
