Has anyone used the ARC Equine shock wave treatment ?

Friend has a horse with tendon injuries who is 3 months into 12 months box rest and come accross this device. At £450 ! wanted some reviews before spending.

Has spoken to vet who is 'on the fence' about it.

Any feedback good or bad greatly appreciated.

It is not shock wave treatment it is microcurrent. We rehab racehorses and vet referalls and I am very impressed with the results using it on serious tendon injuries and wounds and other leg problems. If you or your friend rings Ian at Arcequine (website for numbers) he will talk you through it and is extremely helpful. I have not heard a bad word about it for humans and horses - with some amazing success stories and vets and doctors saying things cannot improve/mend that quickly!
