Archie is squeaky clean

Well, after mustering all my energy and ignoring the twangs of pain in my shoulder, I finally gave Archie a good bath and going over and he looks fabulous. It took me three days, mind. First day, body, 2nd mane and tail and 3rd his legs and feathers. He is now looking like the stunning Archie I know rather than the smelly, dirty, whiskery boy of late.

Its lovely spending some quality time with him

and although I am aching to take him for a ride in the forest am holding fire until I see my consultant ... which isn't till the end of October

If you are close then I would love to come to meet you although I never said I was any good at washing feathers - they just looked better than they did to start with. Alas, I fear, you are t'other end of country or thereabouts. We are in Hampshire, along the A3 corridor (is that how you spell it?) near Petersfield.
