Monster features went loose jumping today for the first time in a couple of months as he was on holiday for a bit in december. Anyways, i thought i would share a couple of vids with you guys.

This is only his 4th time loose jumping and i never jump him under saddle (i dont do jumping!!) The first vid is of a 1.20 oxer that he makes look tiny - well i think so anyways!! The second vid is of his first attempt at bounces, and he ended up doing 3 in a row so im very pleased with him (before anyone asks, they were introduced gradually starting with poles on the floor - we didnt just wack him over 3 in a row!!)

I hope you all like them

Ive jumped him a couple of times but back in the summer before he'd done loose jumping. he really lacks confidence with it, so i decided to loose jump him so he could build confidence himself without me interfering (as im not that confident and was probably making him worse). Dan has jumped him round a course and after a hesitant start he was really good. Im going to start jumping him again in the summer

Hes filled out loads recently, especially since hes got his new saddle! hes really got loads stronger over his back, i cant believe the difference its made. Lottie thought he'd changed so much since she last saw him 2months ago

his work is very varied anyways - im paranoid about keeping variety in it! He gets hacked once/twice a week, and i do pole work once a week with him mixed in with schooling, and he gets lunged once a week too, and a day off once a week. The rest of the week is schooling/training/competing

Wow, he looks fab! Completely different from a vid I'd seen of him you posted last year. There's a lot of horse there isn't there!! He looks like he's having a great time, and yes I'm going to join in and say you def should jump him if only sometimes!

The paddock dividing slip rail has been half down recently and Spider has been 'teaching' himself loose jumping!
I'm not sure that he's a natural.........he canters or trots in all full of purpose then clambers over in the most uncoordinated way I've ever seen!

It's all of about 9" high!!!
Best I bring him to Archie to have some words in his shell like!
