Has anyone been round the novice 2 6`' to 2 9" ? thinking of entering as have heard its a nice course. My boy is keen but green, anything scary?? (doesnt like big houses or haycarts just yet) LOL

Its either that or Blue Anchor!!??

I did the 2'6" ODE there and most the jumps were straight forward the odd scary, not sure if the 2'9" goes in to the quarry though which is def a bit more scary. I think it should be quite a nice course though. Blue Anchor is with the drag hounds so it may be more solid?

Yes have been warned about the quarry!! That should be ok though, from what it has been described as. How would you compare blue anchor to east bysshe been there loads schooling?

I think Blue Anchor is a much nicer course than East Byshee, with much nice fences, the water is a slope in and slope out at BLue Anchor. HAven't done it for a few years but I remember it is so much nicer than East Byshee

Thats good as EB a bit rough and ready!! good water drop though for a youngster and nice chair but thats it once you have been a couple of times.

Still not sure which to so, will ask my daughter if she wants to come and let her decide!! can blame her then if its the wrong choice LOL !!!!!

I am like you not sure which one to do yet? May do Ardingly as it is after the pairs and I can't walk the course SAt so need to do that on the Sun

I did it in April - the 2'9 does go into the quarry and as far as I remember has a jump into water rather than a trot through which I remember catching a few out. not very 'gallopy' which for my mare makes it harder as she needs a good run between fences but it's an OK course.

Sorry to be a pain but when is this? I didn't know there was another Blue Anchor this season... how exciting
