Hi, thinking of buying some to ride in, but do they wrinkle on the inside leg like they do on the outside of the leg after you have pulled the lace taught, or does the leather panel on the inside stop any ankle wrinkling ? I don't want to waste all that money if i can't ride in them comfortably.. and is it true they feel thick on the inside against the saddle or are they close contact ? thx every1.

they're very comfy, the inside doesn't wrinkle at all, stays smooth, but they do feel a little loose on the leg because they're so soft and comfortable, if that makes sense. they feel quite thin against the horse's sides to me. i ride in them every day, incl dressage, and it hadn't even occurred to me to change them for a pair of my other boots, tbh.

I do ride in mine in the summer if I am too lazy to change but I don't like riding in them. Because they are soft and loose they give you no support in your lower leg and my ankles end up in pain by the end of a schooling session.

Excellent boots for round the yard though

I do everything in mine and find them really comfortable. My friend who schools between 4-8 horses a day wears hers all the time, she is on her 3rd pair now! I love mine

They are great for hacking and ok for schooling, but mine do slip down a bit (skinny legs

) so if I'm planning to do some serious work I try and make the effort to change out of them, though dont really want to as they are sooooo warm and comfy!

I've ridden in mine everyday since i got them. I got them in July.
I've schooled, hacked, gone xc training and had sj lessons in them.
I can't fault them, they're SO comfy.
It's lovely changing into them from my long leather boots after hunting!

I find my good to ride in, not too thick on the inside but usually have to take the leathers up a hole as they always feel longer than when riding in my competition long boots! they are a pain to put on first thing in the morning though not just a case of slipping into them like good old sloppy wellies!!
