Are Blue Chip Feeds In Trouble?

Just went to my local feed store to get some Blue Chip (didn't have any) as thier website has been withdrawn for not paying something or other. The man at the store said he wouldn't be surprised if they had gone as they apparently have a big problem with mite which is why he hasn't got it.

Does anyone know anything about this?
 
I'm not going to take a chance and am going to try either Top Spec or Equilibria, though probably Equilibra as there seem to be a lot of people happy with it and its a lot less to buy than the others.
 
Just spoken to my friend from Blue Chip, she said We are having a new website constructed and it will be launched in the next few days.

No we are not in trouble- far from it!
We are just changing the host of our website and launching a new site as soon as the domain transfer is complete. It will be live any time now!

They had a mite problem as they used a dodgy manufacuturer last year and had to recall a load of bags due to contamination !!

Definately use Equilibra - it is a probiotic and as such promotes the good enzymes in the gut - and therefore more of the hard food is digested before being discharged out of the body !!

Unlike Blue Chip Original which has been proven to be made with a large proportion of milk - hence weight gain !!
 
I have always been really pleased with Blue Chip and have never had a problem with their products - I have used it for years now. It also contains a probiotic to encourage the nice bacteria. My horses look ace!!!!!! everyone comments!!
 
Just to put the record straight. Blue Chip Feeds are not in financial trouble - quite the opposite!

Following a dispute with their web design company, Blue Chip have decided to take their business elsewhere. My company has been appointed and have designed a new website and assumed responsibility for hosting the domain.

As anyone who has ever tried to change mobile phone providers will know, the process can take several days. The former hosting company has chosen to publish a notice on the domain they currently control which doesn't in fact tell both sides of the story. We hope to have the new website up soon and until the new ecommerce shop is ready, customers are requested to phone the office 0114 266 6200 to place orders.

Great that Blue Chip are ok, wouldnt it of been better to redirect to a temp webpage to stop customers worrying though??

Also Larry_Branyan i think you will find that your post could be Defamatory & Defamatory posts are not acceptable under the forum terms and conditions.

I would just like to point out i have no interest in the matter at all & dont use Blue Chip or have a company doing Web design. Just thought i would clear that lol.
 
It never ceases to amaze me how quickly people are to make assuptions and find bad news where there isn't any.

Blue Chip Feed had a phenomenal year, and infact has had months of record sales.
Our website is undergoing a total make over, and will be live any day now.
To the person who could not purchase Blue Chip from their local feed shop, kindly let us know the stores name so we can make sure they do not run out again.

Blue Chip continue to grow and prosper, see our great new advert on the inside cover of H&H magazine this week. Joint RLF is truly amazing, I'm even taking it myself.
Other exciting news is we will have two horses racing this year in Blue Chip colours, so look out for them.

Not surprised they've had a great year. Their site says that they haven't paid for intellectual property, so I can only guess that they haven't paid their bill....I'd be rich too if I had no bills!
 
Exactly what I was thinking Gingernags - all these newbies!!

I know from experience how long it can take to get a webname moved and get a new website up.
 
Interesting to note that Ms. Blaskey has now brought out a human joint product. When are they going to develop something new and innovative instead of jumping on other people's band waggon's

First came Blue Chip Orginal which was taken from Growell Feeds established product (Equilibra) - as I understand it Ms. Blaskey used to work for them. Then a dog joint product now a human one ...

Come on Claire how about having your own ideas for once !! Instead of bringing out a new product into an already overstocked market ...
