Are Derby House brand rugs any good?

I've got a full neck rug for my lad about 3 years or so ago from Derby House ( own brand, discounted to £70)

I think it's great - its hardy, keeps him dry and warm and fits him like a glove

Only downside was took a while to get to me (on the upside, they didn't take the money until dispatched to courier) :)

I have 2, same as above one took about a month to arrive but overall my horse hasn't managed to rip them, but had to get a rug extender for the cob as was a bit tight.

I have two - a 170g medium combo turnout and a 300g medium/heavy combo turnout. Both were delivered very quickly.

The 170g rug is a 600 denier and has several large tears after only a couple of months use - to be fair my horse is in a paddock with a known rug-ripper so I expected some wear and tear but not quite so much!

The 300g is still in immaculate condition - though this is probably because I dont use it that much. It is a couple of winters old now but unsure what denier it is.

I would only buy DH rugs in the sale (bought both of mine for under £40each) so if they do get trashed easily I'm not too bothered.
