Horses have never sold well at this time of year; it’s a good time to buy.
Yes , when I bought hunter types I often did it just before Christmas , H came to me this time of year he was very keenly priced most dealers will do you a deal before Christmas for an easy sale .

Yep prices have definitely softened.

Lots of horses, the type I like, now on for £8-10k.
For the last 2-3 years they would have been £12-15k all day long.

If you are experienced to deal with a nicely bred 3-4yro which needs a bit of time, I'm seeing those quite regularly now for £3-5k which is super cheap.
Kind of wish I had a spare stable as I love a nice project but also kind of pleased I don't as I definitely don't need 4 horses!

I've seen a few recently too that I've been having to sit on my hands for!
