As the title says really...are people managing to sell horses at the moment? Have got mine advertised and have had a few calls but not been inundated with people and he is a really nice easy horse with a not too larger price tag!

Anyway just wondered if people have been selling horses ok at the moment.

Coming up to winter is bound to be a slow time - everyone is skint after their holidays, the long nights are drawing in and the main show season is coming to an end.

Some of the prices around at the moment are laughable though.

I would think the best time of the year to sell is after Christmas before the summer season, when buyers are really looking for a horse for that season.

Unfortunately i have to sell him now and cant wait until spring. He is also suitable for hunting as he has whipped in in Ireland and is very good at it. He has had two people come to view him but other than that it seems very slow. Fingers crossed someone perfect comes along for him soon.
