Are mountain horse high rider boots warm???

I love the look of these boots esp as I like brown boots, but am not sure if they are going to be warm enough for winter as I often loose my feet on winter hacks!!??

I also like Rimfrosts, but they don't come in brown but may go for them as they sound so warm.

Are there any others I should look at? I have a max budget of £150 which puts ariats out of reach!

Short answer, not really!! They are a lot warmer than wellies, tho'. I'm a massive fan of Mountain Horse, boots, clothing etc.
I have the High Riders for riding in, as they fit my 'expensive' calves nicely, but for general yardwork, walking the dogs etc, Rimfrosts every time. They don't come in brown, just black afaik. I bought the High Riders in 5 1/2, half a size bigger, so in winter I can wear 2 pairs of socks, which seems to do the trick.

Oh well. I was just "hoping" that they might be! I think it might have to be rimfrosts then. They also have soem active winter boots out which look good!
