Are patent top boots allowed for working hunter?

I'm buying a new pair of boots and found a pair of patent top boots online.I'm hoping to do working hunter classes soon,but I'm not sure if patent top boots are allowed for working hunter classes.Does anyone know if they're allowed?

No they are not! Only plain leather or gaiters and boots of the same colour and texture. Although I think you can wear black boots with brown tops?!

Anything sparkly and pretty is not allowed in any hunter class, NAND usually frowned upon of your standing around the ring watching
