I will be putting a purebred ID rising 4 yo I have owned from a weanling up for sale at the end of march, also backed last summer been turned away for the winter hes 17.2hh, now want to sell, I am thinking 3k is reasonable, I know exactly how much it has cost me to get him to this point, I keep him at home, out all year on good grass, 3k is not making me much money for 3.5 years work, he has been done properly, if people think this is too much then Im not sure how anyone will be able to properly produce a nice youngster ready to start a career with someone.
TBH, I would be suspicious of a purebred ID of that age and height so cheap! You HAVE to be losing money on cost of production at £3,000 as he's been backed.
I would get him back into work and add £2,000 to the price if he's half-way decent and has some bone! Good big heavyweights are hard to find!
