As per title - gave one to Gul this morning, who hoovered it up, then I suddenly got a bit worried that he shouldn't have had it!
Are they ok for them?

Are radishes (and greens) ok for hosses to eat?

You shouldn't feed brassicas (cabbage family and broccoli) as too much can cause nitrate poisoning.

Brassicas also cause wind!!! not so funny when it leads to gassy colic.

Old pony used to eat cabbage stalks/leaves on a VERY occassional basis (not even once per year). Current gee gee has tried parsnips but didn't like them. Corn on the cob, didn't like. Ice cream (chocolate), didn't like and actually ran away from OH down the field as if he was administering bute!! 
Bit pathetic for such a greedy animal!!
Not that they are greens, but she loves damsons (picks them off the tree and spits the stone out!).
I think they are all ok on a very small scale and depending on the horse you give it to! I am careful with her because of her gassy stomach, but the old gee gee had a stomach of iron and was known to scoff sausage butties at shows, the odd prawn butty, candy floss, chocolate, marmite butties, cabbage, and pretty much whatever was on offer without any to do! Don't risk it with latest though.
