as title :)

I have a full wardrobe, most of which is brand spanking new, that now doesnt fit so was thinking of popping them on eBay to see if I can get some of my money back.

hi if i were you id put lightweights or coolers on now but anything medium weight or heavier id wait until the weather turns or you wont get much for them at the minute.

what size do you have? I am about to start trawling ebay for 6.6"

Im looking for a 5ft pony turnout.

Sorry guys, they're all 5"9. Dad doesn't know how to measure properly for rugs so they're all two sizes too small.

To be honest, if I can get back around half of what I paid, I'll be happy to let them go. They won't fit either of my other two so no point in hanging onto them.
I'll pop them up on ebay tomorrow and see how they do.

If your on Facebook there is a good selling site on there which i have used, plus British Dressage is free to advertise on and works well.
And if you look at people like parcel2go and myhermes you can post cheaper which people like :D

I've already had to go out and buy him new rugs because it's been cold up here
Poor horse has some dodgy patterns because they were the only ones in stock in his size :D

Thanks, Jacksmum - I'll have a look. :)

Hi, i may be interested in some of your rugs. Perhaps you could private message me their details?

Ive bought rugs from ebay. Like the other poster said-wait until its colder to sell heavier rugs. & perhaps use a reserve price in case theres no interest. Or just pop a couple on to see how they sell? Ebay does have 'zero insertion fee' wkends that save you a few pennies. And when you calculate postage remember Its packing too! Sometimes couriers are cheaper than royal mail for large items (eg Parcel Monkey). Also you will get charged by paypal as well as ebay! I'd try advertising them locally and on sites like 'preloved' where you can put a set price.

For new rugs you cant beat 'ruggles' imo. Great quality for a great price!

I've only sold a couple of rugs on ebay, they were new and I got quite a good price on them - they were both cooler types but I should think heavier rugs would sell easily when it starts to get colder. May be worth trying preloved too as I've had a lot of luck with that when it comes to horsey items, and if people are local they can come and pick them up so saves on postage costs.

Have just sold a few, they went for reasonable prices but watch out for postage costs, I nearly passed out in the PO with the charges! lost a bit of money on what I charged but hey ho money in the bank is better than a load of rugs that can't be used

Hi, I am looking for some 5'9 rugs for new horse at the moment, if you could PM me with what you've got please? Could avoid eBay fees! Thanks

I've got quite a few 6'9 and 7ft ones. I was waiting for the cooler weather before putting them on...but found with ebay the postage is so expense it puts the buyers off!
