As you all know I have the best dog in the world!! My 10 month old rotti bitch. She is my idea of perfect! Intelligent, polite, has an on button, has an off button, loves cuddles and is generally a pleasure to be with.
I was walking her round the local forest today with my mum. We get to a corner so I call my princess back who of course came running back to me and sat. Round the corner trots a lady who was definitely too big for her horse and her young hound type dog. Her dog proceeded to jump all over my princess who sat there and tried her best to ignore it! Cue lady shouting 'come along Hugo poppet' 'sorry he has just got out of touch with me' so I proceeded to tell her how irresponsible it is to have a young dog you can't control off the lead while she is riding . This woman was completely oblivious and just kept saying he is only a puppy!!
I was so angry I wanted to knock her off her horse!!! I have put so much effort and taken so much care to socialise my dog so that she has never felt she needs to react and you get idiots like that!
I do wonder what goes through people's heads!!
