I only ask because the fields are so full here they look as if it is being grown as a crop. Also the banks at the sides of the main roads are full of it. Perhaps this would be a good community service thingy !
we have oodles of the stuff here in Hertfordshire. I thought that land owners were going to be prosecuted for allowing Ragwort to grow on their land? there are 2 laws on ragwort I think.
I was told that the government started an enquiry into the ill effects of Ragwort on humans and found that it is in the food chain ( honey etc) but then stopped the enquiry ( which usually means they found something terrible and brushed it under the carpet rather than have to spend money on the problem)
