Are the laws changing on 3.5 tonne boxes next year?

I have heard there are some changes coming in next year with regards to the weight carrying of 3.5 tonne boxes, to do with the front axle being a wishbone and not really
strong enough for carrying a full payload, can anyone advise? I've looked online but cannot actually see anything other than an operators licence will be required if you are
transporting for money.

The payload might need distributing differently but the actual payload will remain the same unless the new design adds weight to the vehicle
