that are a decent size but arent affiliated?If this makes any sense!Its just all the HT's and SJ etc are all around 3'3, and i was wondering if they were any bigger classes where you dont have to be affiliated or have BE points etc?Sorry if this is a silly question!

I am afraid you will be very lucky to find anywhere over 3'3" that is not affiliated. The only thing you could do is hire out the bigger XC courses but you would not be competing

What do you mean by 'decent size'?

PN is 3ft3 - there aren't many unaff XC events that go much beyond that.

SJ - Trailblazers usually go up to 105cm - I think that is about 3ft6.

Pony Club events sometimes have an open (3'6'') which are occasionally open to non members too - otherwise there is nothing bigger than 3'3'' on the unaffiliated circuits

Our pony club hunter trials goes up to 4ft (brush) 3ft6 (solid). Most PC opens have a 3ft6 class. Or you could compete BE on a ticket!

Most unaff only goes up to about 3'3'' but PC Open is 3'6'', a few hunter trials have a 3'6'', Trailblazers SJ goes up to 1.05m (3'5'') and a venue near me does unaff up to 1.10m (3'7'').

I think you can do up to BE Novice on a ticket. You can do BSJA on a ticket but you can't win money/qualifications.

West Wilts do unaffliated over their BE Novice course, don't know if that is close to you.
