I have totally had enough now. Travelling hundreds of miles to get there and find, lame horse, horse with sarcoids on eye. Horse that rears. I am looking for a safe horse as my confidence is already at an all time low, I really need to be trying horses with issues :eek:.. Can anyone recommend a good dealer, or even advice where not to go..?
This is what I want..

Horse wanted over between 15 and 16.2hh (max) no youngsters. Established safe horse with no issues suitable for any novice and that can go up a gear for more experienced. For RC/ hacking/dressage ( must be 100% traffic proof as on busy road) non spooky and with very good manners as kids around. Travel/load, clip farrier etc..Prefer short trial period with all the dodgy ones ive seen. Please pass on and help me find one that preferably isn't across the other side of the UK.
 
Your problem is you are looking for the same as many other people, there are just not enough genuinely good horses of this type to go round and they are usually at a premium price. I cannot help as not in your area so no idea of dealers.
 
Have pm you a couple of people who might possibly help or might be able to point you in the right direction. Be positive said you are looking for what nearly everyone wants. Good luck
 
Try Russell Atkin from the Bourne area. He supplies a lot of hunters, and I have a friend who had one from him. I think he has a good reputation and is fair.

I know of another gentleman from near Lincoln who gets nice horses in and isn't dodgy. PM me if you need more details.
 
Are you willing to travel to Barnsley as I know of a really good dealer there exactly your specification is their business.
