Are there any horses for loan out there?

I'm having a nightmare at the moment trying to find a suitable horse on full loan! I've been looking for ages now, I want one between 14.2-15.1hh that is reasonably well behaved as I need to regain confidence. I am in Essex, Harlow and I either can't find anything that is willing to be moved as I already have a yard in Nazeing where I have training and support from friends, the owner is uncontactable or most recently, we found the perfect 14.2hh and was willing to go ahead with it until the man who was loaning it became obsessive and it wasn't until afterwards we heard some more scary stories about him!! So rather glad he showed his true colours beforehand! It makes me wonder if I'll ever find something or to give up now:') anyone else had similar problems? Or even better know of anyone with a suitable horse?

Have you tried horsey groups on facebook? I see quite a few horses for loan on those. Sorry I can't help further but good luck in your search!

You could try doing a wanted ad too, give people an idea of what you want etc and they may just be thinking about loaning but waiting for someone suitable to raise their head, before they dare tackle the unsuitable responses they will get from their own ad!

Hi, What sort of horse are you looking for? My best friend has one she has just put up for loan, he is about 15hh, he has the most wonderful nature and loves learning new things but as we dont have a rider for him, he needs bringing on, so she is looking for someone who is experienced and can take him on as he could do soooooo well with the right person!
