Having to retire my 30-something year old cob from our Pony Club centre and replacing him is seemingly impossible. He's one of those totally trustworthy little horses who you can put a 6yo child on and he'll do exactly as he's told in and out of the menage yet he's equally as suitable for a 16yo who wants to ride cross-country.

Does anyone know of a 14hh+, preferably gelding, who I could trust with a childs life? Unfortunatly, being a small 'riding school' we don't have more than a grand or two to spend but would take a horse on loan.

Our ponies only work 4 half-days a week in one to three 45min lessons and live out so they have a pretty good life for riding school horses, if anyones worried about loaning or selling to a school!

Any help/leads/links gratefully received.

If my Bear was foresale he'd of been perfect for you! It sounds like a lovely RS, Have a look on horsemart, put in the price region of £1000-£2000 There was loads of lovely cob types on there last night when I looked.
Good luck,
